The 2024 MG HS Trophy Plug-in Hybrid is a high-spec version offering a combination of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and an electric motor. It boasts a combined power output of 258hp, achieving 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds. The plug-in hybrid system allows for a WLTP-rated pure electric range of 32 miles, extendable to 44 miles in urban conditions from a 16.6kWh battery. The Trophy trim adds features like heated front seats, a power tailgate, rear privacy glass, and adjustable ambient lighting. MG HS Phev is NOT a self charging hybrid and would benefit greatly someone who can charge from home or who has solar as the vehicle has the ability to run in pure EV mode without the petrol engine running. Once the electric battery is depleted, the power would switch over to petrol allowing you to complete your journey without delay.
