Landrover Defender TD5 year 2000. Modified, not one for the purist. I have owned this Landy since 2012, and in 2016, completely restored it. I have done far too much to list here, but the highlights are Galvanized chassis, painted with Jotun paint used on oil rigs and lanoguard protected, looks as good as the day it was done. Rear diff is an Ashcroft truetrac. QT diff guards and castor correction arms. LRM fuel tank guard and steering guard. Turbo is turbo techniques VGT with a larger in cooler and mapped by Bell Auto Services, this is giving around 200 bhp. The Roverdrive compliments the extra power working as an overdrive, allowing cruising at main road and motorway speeds far more relaxed. All nuts and bolts are where possible are stainless steel for longevity. Wheels are Pro Comp and shod with BF Goodrich All Terrains. Front callipers upgraded to 110 for vented discs, which are grooved for great stopping power. A dual battery system is fitted to run the auxiliary accessories ie winch, heated seats, heated windscreen and auxiliary lights, electric windows. The exterior has Optimill intake, hinges doors, bonnet and windscreen brackets. Headlights are LED, plus Light Force spotlights. Warn Winch 9.5 XP with remote control. Seats are the Diamond XS seats, very comfortable with bulkhead removal bar, as per the pics, stereo has the Apple Play function for modern nav etc. There are various alloy parts to highlight the interior, with leather wrapped dashboard and alloy/ leather steering wheel. I am sure I have missed quite a bit, and I will be sad to see it go, but after all the work I have done, I have used it very little, having only covered 1547 miles since 2017, and only 300 miles last year. I have covered the number plate as this is private reg which will be transferred before sale. This is a vehicle that you need to be standing in front of to appreciate, so please don't make stupid offers over the phone.
