HWM Sports Cars are delighted to offer for sale this stunning supercharged Vantage 4.7l V8. This is a car that we upgraded in house ourselves in 2022. Fitting the GMR Supercharger which has increased the power to 600bhp and also has 450lbs/ft of torque, peak torque is achieved from 3500rpm and is consistent all the way to the 7300rpm! Also included with the Supercharger kit we also fit a water injection system to keep cylinder temperatures the same as a standard 4.7L V8. This also helps control the temperature levels of the coolant and exhaust gases. Working with GMR Design to Supercharge the V8 engine we have created a very unique and incredibly quick V8 Vantage! We have also made adjustments to the suspension to help the stability and balance of the car. At HWM Sports Cars we aimed to create an Aston Martin V8 Vantage that is even more exciting to drive than the standard car but could also be driven daily if you wanted to. Working alongside GMR Design we have increased the power output to 600bhp. This has been achieved by a number of different components. Firstly the standard MAP was taken from the engine ECU so that it could be modified. The work then started on the engine bay to accommodate the Supercharger, water cooling system and exhaust system. The exhaust system has been custom made to work with the GMR600 supercharger, the exhaust has been optimised to increase the flow of exhaust gasses as much as possible, the manifolds are equal lengths, the 200 cell catalytic converters and the use of the GMR GT4 cross-over pipe all work together achieve the most efficient flow as possible. We decided to use the standard rear silencer to keep the exhaust noise at an acceptable level for daily use. Once the power upgrade had been completed we needed to carry out the adjustments to to suspension to make the car stable and balanced enough to handle the increase in power.
