Description

The original factory records show that the car was manufactured on 16th February 1970, and was dispatched to the British Leyland New York - USA Distributorship on the 13th of March in that year and referenced by the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate confirms the numbers of the car at the time of manufacture, all of which bear out with the vehicle's identification plate as a Matching Numbers Car. The documented history of the car shows that it was initially owned by a gentleman from Colorado Springs for the first17years of life. He then sold it on to an agent. The car was then purchased by a Father and Son from Idaho. Between them they owned the car for the next 29 years, covering an additional documented10,109miles in their ownership. The transfers between these parties are corroborated and validated by Official State Documentation issued at the time of transfer. After arriving in the UK the car was eventually purchased by the current owner and all importation documentation was carried out. The car has not been a restoration project and is in good order. At 55years old although exempt from requiring an MOT Test Certificate the car was tested on its importation to UK and passed without any advisories being noted.
