Mazda MX-5 NC 2007 / 2litre 74000 miles Slight Engine Knock at High Revs Bought this lovely NC model Mazda as a project car last October, due to medical issues I haven't been able to do anything with it. The car has been sitting in a garage since purchase. Cosmetic paint wear around the hood and underneath, also under the boot lid where the 2 interior lights are. There are also very minor scratches here and there on the paint which will t-cut out. Front and rear cills and arches rust-free no bubbling. Soft top spotless, minor damage to drivers seat fabric. There is a knocking / tapping noise coming from the engine at high revs. The previous owner stated it needed tappets changing, I suspect this isn't the case, potentially bearings or camshaft. Was used as a daily work car, gearbox and all other mechanical systems spotless. Drives and runs, new battery fitted and serviced. Beautiful car, worth the money and more if you have a mechanic or break it for parts. Is currently SORN due to storage/medical issues.
