ULEZ complaint. Same ownership in the last 16 years. Engine replaced with identical one in 2016 when vehicle was at 118,000 miles. At the time, replacement engine was at 69,000 miles (please find letter attached) Therefore, engine has covered 49,000 miles less than the rest of the car it self. Therefore, whilst the car is at 177,000 miles engine is on 128,000. Condition of the engine is absolutely immaculate as well as the gear box
This vehicle is 2.2, 6 cylinder intake. There isnt much difference between this and 3.25's. Full service history had been carried out couple of months ago (including fuel filter). Camshaft' s CO2 sensor and engine oil level sensors are also replaced recently.
In the last 4 years it has become the second vehicle for our family. Since then it hasnt been driven much you'll notice this from the MOT records. I was at the stage of improving it to keep it few more years. However, rear differential has started knocking. This is due its bushes that holds it tight in place are gone. Due to this, I have been put off by my misses, thats the reason for sale.
Other than random knocking noise, car drives perfectly which will give you a time to find the right parts to change it. Any inspection is welcome.
As well as, it has few issues with the body work itself as marked up with images. Rusts over the rear wheel archers and upper side of the drivers door needs painting. Drivers seat doesn't look good, I found few on facebook, ebay etc but they were all far away.
Original and replacement engines are both EURO 4. Therefore vehicle is ULEZ Compliant. NOT EURO 3. Please see image from TFL website.
