BMW x3. Great looking (newer shape x3 lasting to 2017) car is 2010 M-sport alloys Opportunity to buy car at low price for someone good with cars or who issues won't bother too much! I've seen these selling locally for 5k it's a popular car in price range. Issues; Car drives but we noticed a judder when at higher speeds. No dash or warning lights on, I took to Local garage who test drove it locally, and said nothing wrong with it initially. I went back to them and said it's definitely not driving right. So they took it out at higher speeds and repeated diagnostic. They said car may require transmission case and bearing to fix issue. With this in mind the car sits nicely in all gears and has driven to wales and back with this issue. It's not something that seems to be getting any worse, and is fully drivable and passed mot. I live on Isle of Wight and could not source part at local scrap yard, so have not managed to fix, is not worth to buy parts new from BMW. There are no engine noises and runs smoothly Couple of other annoying bits; Battery ran out in remote key, I replaced and it Partially works now, will now centrally remote lock car doors, for some reason the unlocking of boot can play up, but will usually work eventually, is not reading connecting to start car and you have to hold against steering column to start (although always starts) there is no BMW on island to took at programme, although an auto locksmith maybe able to do it? The electric window switch for driver side (singular window only) is loose but works. Fog light is functional but one lens has a crack. Radio volume must be operated buy switch on Steering wheel, but is fully adjustable there. Rear wiper has broken off. Needs bulb in one of rear indicator rights Everything else works fine, air con, heated seats recent tyres, great clean interior, unmarked seats, large roomy boot great for families. Was fully serviced last year, although I think it may be now due a minor change of break fluid type service (obviously optional) . No canvassing, pls don't ask me to send car and you pay later or live overseas!!genuine buyers only please, can can be brought to iow ferry port, fast cat Portsmouth only 15mins etc
