Description

2005 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TD V6 SE in Silver. This has been our main family and my daily commuting car for just over a year now (I acquired the vehicle on 11/05/2024). My brother owned the car for 1 year before me. It has not let me down for the time that I have owned it and I'm only selling as we are moving house and down sizing, we have recently been on holiday where it was parked at Gatwick for a whole week and started on the button. The car is fitted with: parking sensors, cruise control, privacy glass, heated seats which are really nice in the winter! Electric windows, electric mirrors, remote central locking and has a spacious boot. The car has been well maintained and has had services at; 20,853 (17/04/2007), 29,754 (10/04/2008), 40,105 (30/03/2009), 43,351 (20/08/2009), 49,017 (19/07/2010), 54,218 (21/08/2011), 58,767 (10/07/2012), 105,915 (22/12/2018 - when both cam belts were changed), 138,694 (06/09/2023) with its last service at 142,666 (13/06/2024). In my ownership I have had part of the car re-sprayed, 2 new rear tyres inc rear tie rods ends which were needed for adjusting the tracking, rear brake pads, parking brake shoes and drums. We have replaced the batteries in the remote central locking keys, the car comes with 3 keys. The wheels were refurbished about 2 years ago. The next MOT is not due until 28/05/2026 and it has the cheaper road tax of 430 per year. I have done a lot of rust treatment work under the car to preserve it for longer. The current mileage of the car is 147,210 but this will go up slightly as it in daily use. The car does have an intermittent air suspension fault but this does not effect the driving of the car and the air suspension works fine when it does not come up, I think it might be the compressor which is not able to generate the pressure at higher levels (but I'm no mechanic). The car has had 7 previous owners and the first date of registration was 24/06/2005. It's a comfortable, quiet drive and has good fuel economy. Thank you for viewing the advertisement of my Range Rover Sport, any inspections and viewings welcome.
