Description
I bought this Toyota Urban Cruiser on Auto Trader three months ago and then someone offered me a Renault Megane, which is more suited to my needs, so I'm re-selling the Toyota.
It has, in the meantime, had a full service and is ready for the road
In summary, it is a great little runner with smooth gear handling, good acceleration and high MPG. I've driven it to Cornwall and back, Wales and back as well as general running about town and it handles really well. It benefits from switchable 4WD and is spacious for its size (I packed two armchairs in the back!)
The MOT expires at the end of this year and, apart from the usual attention to brakes, there are a couple of wiring anomalies that need looking at, namely:
- the dashboard brake light is permanently on, even though the braking system has been checked and is working as it should - so a faulty sensor is likely;
- when the car reverses, the dashboard fog light indicator comes on - the garage who did the service advised me that this is likely a wiring crossover done when the towbar was fitted so it just needs a wiring modification to correct this.
Thanks for looking. Any questions, please ask.
