Bought this car from Mr. KS in August 2022, the first owner after the supplying dealer, J Pearsons (Motors) of Wemyss Bay, for whom it had been a demonstrator. Mileage was 62546. The original registration is SA 12 JXN, which will replace our 'local' plate when sold. On inquiry, Mr. KS wrote to us explaining that he'd had the car serviced every 12 months as per the service book. Our local garage replaced the DPF pressure sensor (October 2022) and while it was with them waxoyled the underbody. The front calipers were stripped, serviced and 'copper slipped' in January 2023 while new shoes went in the rear. The a/c was re-gassed in June 2023 along with a new battery. Most of the miles have been clocked up on the M6 between J35 Carnforth and J32 Preston. The driver, Philippa, is a competitive swimmer and trained in Preston up to 8 times a week in addition to attending competitions throughout the northwest. Reliability was paramount for a 17 year old lass on a dark motorway, so we did a lot of preventative maintenance, for example replacing bulbs before they popped and keeping the tyres well legal. 20 quid tax and Pippa's insurance is about 800.
