As a petrol-head and car enthusast I've owned this Midnight Sky Ford Mondeo Titanium X for just over a year and was bought as a run-around car when I had to hand back a company car. I've since been given another company car so I no longer need this anymore hence for sale. I've spent a lot of time making this OEM-plus. It drives very well and left factory as 163 BHP, but was re-mapped plus DPF & EGR solution by the previous owner to around 200 BHP and is noticeably quicker, yet returns 50+ MPG and 750 miles per tank. This is commonly done on Mondeos, as you'll find from others in the Mondeo owners group. It has the manual 6 speed gearbox, known for its reliability over the automatic, and the diesel 2.0 engine (DW10C) built by the PSA group that is very reliable and known for covering over 300-400K plus miles if serviced regularly. The mileage should not put you off at all, given how well it drives and the stack of paperwork over the years. Every time this vehicle needed something, its been done straight away. The car does have signs of wear and tear but generally is in great condition for its age. It has a small dent in the bonnet, minor parking dent rear driver door, and a small scuff on the rear left bottom bumper. All of these are minor and not worth repairing. I had the front bumper professionally resprayed to make it new as it had a lot of stone chips from motorway use. Please remember it is a 14 year old vehicle, so does have a few squeaks, rattles and wear, thus sold as seen. It has also been an airport transfer taxi for ONE year hence motorway mileage.
