Description

Reluctant sale of a much loved former daily reliable ride that drives beautifully. With original docs, strong service history (12 in book, last major at 86k, lots of paperwork). 4th owner, for 9 years (since Feb 2016), just under 750 miles in since 2024 MoT, a second car since 2023. Superb Powerflow exhaust fitted in 2022 could outlast the car: a lovely growl that hints at proper power to match the understated black (some snazzier colours look the part, sure!), without the over-excited boy-racer decibel nonsense. A fabulous engine that's never let me down once, gearbox shifts perfectly, fast when wanted, docile in traffic, not as heavy on fuel as you might think - typically high-20s and even 32mpg or more if you behave - photos to prove! I used to have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 which barely did 15mpg, so I have a frame of reference, ha. Low insurance, too. 12-months MoT with no advisories. These have almost classic car cult following, only 200 ever brought to the UK, loads of useful help via several forums. A real head-turner with a realistic valuation reflects a lot of solid car for a lot of fun with no major issues, just some work you might want to do to smarten it up - low-cost parts shared with Jeep and Chrysler: easy to get - and you'd still have a looker for less than the priciest on sale here this week: - All electrics fine, heater working with a slightly sticky thermostat - Aircon not working: checked and needs compressor (about 400) - Recent non-functioning drivers front Tyre Pressure Sensor - inside wheel/tyre - forty quid for a replacement plus fitting - hardly a spec of rust anywhere but paintwork is scruffy, mainly the bonnet (idiot threw acid in a public car park in 2019, affecting the protective layer - scuffs and dings consistent with fair wear and tear for age, nothing major, straight vehicle, no accidents in my time, passed all vehicle checks - driver-side footwell carpet: small hole from previous owner's stiletto! - interior headlining: taut as it should be but staining from roof leak - known Dodge recall (roofrail bolts) - full replacement can be sourced for reasonable cost. - front driver seat side panel loose bracket: electric seat adjustment working fine So that's full disclosure, sensibly priced to save us time haggling, you're getting a great car that will keep you in smiles.
