Description

This is a beautiful Orinoco Edition 1.9l Z3 (140BHP). Paintwork is in very good condition for it's age. There is a rust bubble on one corner of the bonnet and there is a little rust on the outer nearside sill (bolt on panel that can be easily replaced). Bonnet was resprayed to remove stone chips. Underneath she is really clean! I have owned for nearly 3 years and brought the matching hardtop from my previous car that I had for 5 years. This gives you two cars in one and protects the soft top during the winter. It make the car stiffer, warmer and quieter! Easily installed and comes with a cover to protect it during storage. HARDTOP IS AVAILABLE THROUGH SEPARATE NEGOCIATION Previously owned by a fastidious lady, since 2016 at about 85,000 miles. Loads of work done in her ownership, including break pipes, suspension, tyres and exhaust. A new mohair hood was installed in 2018, which is still in fabulous condition. I purchased in October 2022 at 113,000 miles. Since then I've done 10,000 miles. Until May 2024 it was used daily, and has been an absolute pleasure to drive and own. In this time I've had a new radiator, lower front ball joint, nearside front and both rear springs, two rear tyres, clutch and dual-mass flywheel, and cam gasket replaced. Electric windows work but get stuck on rubber seal at start. They work fine if started with the door open. MOT until August 2026 There is a complete service and repair history from April 2004, with all receipts. She drives beautifully and I'll be sorry to see her go to a new owner. However, I took on a low mileage Z4 last year and I can only have one 2-seater! The less good bits are the the drivers seat bolster is badly worn. It could be repaired but it can't be seen when you're sitting in it. The Air conditioning doesn't work either. It's been re-gassed but leaks, which I understand is expensive to trace. The LCD screen that displays the mileage has developed a fault (see photo). The mileage and trip are still readable and this is not an MOT issue. The whole console is easy to remove but I have not gone down that route or tracing a replacement LCD element. Fabulous little car for one that is nearly 27 years old. And I can easily get 40 MPG on a run...Always kept covered when not in use! Any questions, please ask!
