Description

Thanks for looking at my Vauxhall Vectra 2.8 petrol turbo estate. The car has JUST passed its MOT, so now comes with a fresh ticket until August 2026! What is it you ask? It's a pretty pokey estate car for naff all money. Someone must have paid a fortune back in the day for this, as it's got great spec for the age: XP1 factory bodykit black leather heated front seats cruise control dual zone climate air con (works & is very cold) tilt & slide sunroof electric tailgate auto xenon active headlights (turn with the road) auto wipers sat nav heated front screen Aux input The police interceptors used to use these back in the day to catch baddies & crims, which should hint to their performance, and also their durability / reliability. Quite low mileage for its age. It has 2 keys, V5 and a few old invoices with it - BUT not what i'd call full service history. There are some scuffs and marks, mainly on the back bumper & arches - pics have been provided, on that side of things. Unfortunately someone has stuck a VXR badge on the back, which is a bit tragic, but equally I haven't taken it off. I think the rear discs are a tiny bit warped as theres a very light vibration when braking (just being honest) so would recommend fitting new rear discs (60 from EuroCarParts). The rear exhaust tips are also corroded from the backbox, a good excuse for a new stainless backbox (this would be the next thing I would do if i was keeping it longer)! Apart from these little minor points, the car starts on the button, and pulls strong in all gears. Auto box changes well and engine doesn't smoke or overheat. There is NO chain rattle on startup. The air con is lovely & cold.
