The time has come to reluctantly sell my MG TF. My very first car which I have owned since 2011. With a new born, I am just not getting the time to enjoy it - so it's time to hand over to someone else to enjoy.
The car has been in dry storage for most of the last 3 years and done very little mileage, despite an extensive amount of works (my lockdown project!)
In the last 2k miles the car has had a full overhaul:
-New coil packs and leads
-Coolant alarm sensor
-Air filter (cone)
-New hoses (inc. coolant circuit PRT upgrade)
-Reverse light sensor
-New rear Ball joints
-Stainless coolant pipes & heat exchanger
-New fuel filter
-Full underseal
-New battery
-New timing belt
-New Stainless Stell Exhaust (full system)
-New lambda sensor
-New stainless upgrade side vents
-Upgraded leather arm rest
-New seatbelt pretensions
-Leather tonneau cover
-Rear light boot covers
-Replacement (and dyed) soft top
-New MG branded floor matts
Headgasket upgrade was completed in 2012 at circa 50k miles.
Notable issues (please see photos):
-Localised bubbling of paint on the front wing
-Slight crack on the front bumper (not repaired as not really noticeable)
-Localised paint bubbling on around passenger door
-Wearing of the seat leather
(Note at the last MOT it had an advisory on failed reverse lights - this has now been resolved with a new switch installed).
