Hi I have owned the vehicle since May 2023. I looked at many Discoveries before i found this one. I am the 5th Keeper of the car It is the HSE spec so has things like the glass roof, Higher quality leather seats and a fantastic audio system. Heated front and rear seats. Brilliant Factory Hid headlights which adjust when you go around corners. Even do a little show when turning on. Puddle lights when opening doors. This has 7 useable seats. Perfect for Kids tht dont like to sit next to each other. The car has an auxillary heater that kicks in when temp is under 5 degrees which helps warm the car up faster. The car Is just approaching 150,000miles In my ownership i have.... Done regular services as well as had halfords do a full service. I have had all four tyres replaced with Bridgestones. Just recently had the front offside lower wishbone replaced. Recently had a fixed towbar fitted by Bowmans in Bury (i haven't used) Rear Brake disc and pads replaced with brembos about 18 month ago Brand new Discs and pads to front (Brembos) Car has been run on shell V power diesel for past 6months as is my local petrol station. ISSUES The dash has just split around the passenger airbag due to the sun. The car has two keys, only one is currently working for remote central locking and ignition, the other does start the car, Probably just needs the rechargeable battery replaced. The handbrake only works on the switch (not automatic) it does show a light when driving but has past at least two mots like this. This is most likely that a previous owner has replaced the module with a used unit. I have looked into fixing but it is near 3000 to get new unit and replace. The air suspension only works after driving about 50yds from turning the engine on. after that even when stops the suspension works. Believe it is something to do with the EPB module. Again this is issue that i have always had. Sunroof does work but sticks when closing. In cold conditions it starts every time but can be a bit smoky as one or two glow plugs are not working. It really isn't a problem and changing a glow plug in these could end up as a really bad day as they are known to snap when removing. If it ever does become a problem a better solution is to make the auxillary heater work on remote. Kit is inexpensive and enables the car to be warmed up before starting.
