2007 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Facelift
I purchased this car around 18 months ago and have covered around 20, 000 miles in it. After a recent accident with a lampost I have decided not to repair it and have purchased a replacement car, a BMW X5M. The damage is unrecorded.
The car has a number faults which are mentioned below but is still in daily use and runs absolutely fine.
2007 Facelift model
Front and rear heated seats
Heated wheel
Electric tailgate
Sunroof
Cold Air Con
Electric Windows, Mirrors, Sunroof, Seats etc
Alcantara Headlining
Auto wipers/lights
The car has full service history (paperwork present) and is sitting at around 140k miles now. In my ownership I have serviced it, replaced the water pump and upgraded the headlight bulbs. It has around 6 months MOT remaining.
A lovely drive - engine, gearbox, brakes, air suspension all in good order. Tyres all good (2x Bridgestone and 2x Pirelli). Never overheats, shifts well, pulls well.
Bad bits -
1. Damage to rear quarter (see photos)
2. Headlight warning light is on - works fine - only gives error because of an aftermarket ballast.
3. EML is on but the car drives 100% fine, not misfiring, not in limp mode, never overheats etc. It sometimes takes a couple of turns of the to start but ALWAYS starts and drives flawlessly. Needs investigating.
4. Oil level sensor sometimes throws up a warning but oil is usually fine when checked.
That's it. Damage to the bodywork and few niggles which in all honesty I have just ignored because it's been driving fine.
The cheapest facelift on Autotrader with part history and 150k miles is listed for just shy of 8k. Considering the damage to the body and niggles listed above I am giving this away at this price.
I am not entertaining any offers at this price. The car is in daily use so the mileage may rise a little.
The car is in use daily and is located in Birmingham.
It is very cheap and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. I don't have the time to hold it for anyone etc. This will make an amazing car again for someone who has the time, contacts/skills to repair the bodywork and sort out the small issues listed.
