Description

For sale with engine damaged. Foolishly bought from, North West Autos Ltd, in Blackburn. They like to go the extra mile. I managed just 49. Way too good to scrap. Worth repairing. I paid 4.5k cash. It was a total breakdown within hours of collecting it. A hurried collection left running at the gate. I did not have a test drive first. I relied on the reputation of the seller. The Auto Trader awards. AA Approved Trader. Motoring Ombudsman scheme?? The car would have had to be road tested before being issued with a new mot. I'm left wondering about that. They fitted a new battery and every wheel has a new brake disk. Clean oil and air filter, with a good service history. On the drive home to Manchester from Blackburn. The car seemed faulty. By the time I actually got home for the evening, the car was on the back of an AA truck. It had broken down on the Motorway due to engine failure. I changed the fuel filter, thinking it would have been contaminated with old diesel grunge. The car had been stored for 12 months. Was this just bad luck? I'm advised to get a new engine, or an engine rebuild. So I will cut my losses and sell on Auto Trader at..... the best offer.. the best offer...the best offer...Hopefully to someone mechanically able and can create for themselves a really decent car. Foolishly, I never insisted on the vehicle being returned for a complete refund. Instead I was offered an over the phone refund of two hundred & fifty pounds as a full and final settlement as long as I sent an email first to confirm that with them. Now there is nothing I can do to get a full refund after that . It became a game of cat and mouse which I gave up on. If you buy it. No mechanical messing about here, trying to get it to drive. It would break down within a mile or two. It needs to be towed or ride on a dedicated truck. Bought as seen by buyer. No refunds at all. See video of engine. Car off road on a SORN Definitely bought as seen by buyer. Or don't enquire. Best of luck.
