1979 MG Midget 1500 in Leyland White, this car was extensively rebuilt throughout between 2000 and 2010 with photographic evidense throughout - kept in 3 photo albums. it was registered on the road in 2010. I have all bills and receipts. The bodywork is in fantastic condition, as is the understructure, no rust anywhere. It has seats from a MGF which are more comfortable, with seat belts. It is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust. I purchased the car in 2020. To date, it remains in excellent condition throughout. The car is only driven in dry weather. It has 48000 miles on the clock from new. It has only done 8000 miles since completion of the rebuild. The car has been meticulously maintained throughout, no expense spared. Last year the cylinder head was decoked, electronic ignition, ignition switch, starter switch were renewed. I now have two keys. The engine coolant and engine oil is of the correct grade for classic cars. All hoses are new. The car runs fantastic. The roof is original and good (not new), but the car is stored in the garage under a cover with the roof down, but can be up in seconds. Even though it is mot and tax exempt since 2020, it has been mot'd every year since and any recommendations carried out.
