Owners club member, selling much loved classic 190E. V. low mileage, works out at approx 2500 a year! V5 my name, my address. 2 keys. Rare manual. Only 2 owners before me. For sale to a classic car enthusiast. I will regret selling, but I want another SLK...! Recent work: new radiator early 2023 (no receipt, was done before I bought it, and obviously in great condition); Battery, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump & fuel tank Jan '23; 2 lower suspension arms, clutch, clutch slave and master cylinders, prop shaft bearing, steering shocker, wheel alignment, underseal Aug '23; Water pump, thermostat, antifreeze Aug '23; rear brake discs pads and handbrake adjustment Apr '24; tailored mats Jun '24; gearbox mounting and prop shaft Feb '25; exhaust box Apr '25. Lots spent. All dash lights come on and go off again as they should when car is started. Fan kicks in when it should and keeps everything nice and cool. Central locking works as it should on a vacuum system. Nothing doesn't work! Car of course does NOT have air con, cup holders, radio, electric windows.... it's full of charm and frequently praised. Fuel gauge wobbles all over the place, I just zero the trip and full up (quality E5 every time) after 250 miles or so. Usually have about a quarter of a tank left then. Polishes up nicely but it's 32 years old so paint is thin in places. This car is my daily driver - commuting, socialising, shopping, holidays, everything. Used every day and in all weathers, and has never once let me down. You have peace of mind from knowing it hasn't been sat still for ages - all rubber hoses etc should be good for ages. Recently used to go to Gatwick and back on the motorway (from Glos, 220 mile round trip) to take us on holiday. I'd take it anywhere!
