Description
Selling my Saab 95 estate. The car is a 2009 Turbo Edition, so this is the final run of the famous 95 Aeros.
The car is basically a 95 Aero estate with some minor cosmetic differences, if you know about these cars you will know all about it, and yes it does have the 2.3 turbo engine and the manual gearbox.
I have owned this car for a few years, having purchased off an old boy who was using the car for his "long drives".
Since I have owned the car, I have given the car 3x full service (including gearbox oil 1x), and changed a few advisory items from Saab forum members:
DIC was replaced at my first service with a Genuine Saab item, not the cheaper repro. Set of new (and correct) plugs at the same time.
There was a minor blow on the flexy of the exhaust, so I replaced the entire exhaust from the turbo back with a stainless system. This sounds lovely, and is not loud or a drone at all. Passed MOT twice with this.
I replaced the intercooler with a DO88 thicker steel intercooler, and replaced the bypass valve with a genuine Forge (recirculating) BOV.
The car was mapped to a 'Stage 1', then Stage 3+ by Karl and this drives lovely. You can choose which map you want. I do have a dyno from each 'stage' (stock, 1, 3+) I can upload this if you would like to see the pull.
Other than usual age related negatives, the gearbox has a slight whine when coasting, but runs totally fine. Had this the whole time I've owned it, the old boy said it was a clutch release bearing, and a Saab indi told me the same and advised I ignore it until I need to change the clutch.
Please call, no texts please just calls.
Reason for sale is, this is my 2nd car and due to commuting I rarely drive this now so its time for someone else to enjoy it.
Recently passed its MOT (view online RV59 GWM) car in Winchester, please don't call me offering "500 quid cash today", enthusiast sale so looking for a good new owner.
