For Sale is our 1973 VW Beetle 1303S 1600cc. We purchased the car in 2017 and it was my wife's daily driver doing a daily 40 mile round trip until she retired. We are selling because it is now not getting used enough. It is absolutely not a show car but is a sound example of a 1970s Super Beetle. The only blemish is at the bottom of the offside door (see pics). As a 1303S it has front disc brakes and stops as well as it goes. I have kept it regularly maintained throughout our ownership. The car has been kept standard and the only change has been to add American spec high back seats which are OE. The only other minor changes are sensible - an electric windscreen washer and a Berg oil temp dipstick. The car is tax and MOT exempt however we have kept it MOT'd. The current MOT runs out in August and I can put a new MOT on it before selling. Edit: Car has just had new MOT until 19/08/26. The car is currently insured with an agreed value of 10k. Mileage is as shown on the speedo. Obviously as a 50 year old car it has done a lot more! Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
