Description
Registered on 29.04.2003, this silver Jaguar XK8 Coupe, with standard 4.2 litre engine, has done only 86,000 miles over its 22 year life (Average of 3909 miles per year) Unlike most XK8s, it has 18" wire wheels, a stainless steel nose grill and slightly lowered suspension.
The "Charcoal" leather interior is in pristine condition considering its age. As well as a radio, there is a 6 track CD player (installed in the boot). The car also boasts a very attractive burr walnut dash-board, the shape of which was inspired by the Spitfire wing.
By way of regular maintenance, the following equipment has been replaced (beginning with the latest first):
Battery; tyres; oil cooler; front ABS rotors and sensors; hand brake; seat well plate; front upper wishbone bushes; side indicator lenses; sports exhaust; induction kit for better throttle response; front drop links; outer track control bushes; front anti-roll bar bushes; lowered suspension; upgraded springs and all brake pads.
Servicing has been carried out by Jaguar specialists as stamped in the maintenance book. Along with the handbook and other original Jaguar documents, there are three keys including the green valet one.
Present owner has driven the car for only 3000 miles and all of those in sunny weather. A sale has been made inevitable by advancing years and slowing reactions.
