Description
Welcome to my listing for my 2016 BMW M140i manual.
As the photos hopefully show the car is in genuinely superb condition both inside and out and I have spent considerable money getting it to how it is. Apart from the odd very minor mark, there are no major imperfections to speak off. The interior shows very little signs of wear as expected at 87000 miles.
Recent work includes:
- Wheel refurbishment in correct Ferric Grey
- New Kuhmo Ecsta PS71 tyres all round
- New discs and pads front and rear
- Full service, including gearbox oil
- The infamous handbrake cable bracket has been replaced
MOT valid until July 2026 with no advisories as expected. Both keys are present as well as the owner's manual and wallet.
The vehicle is recorded as Category N, no damage to the body, just the engine after ingesting water due to a silly mistake by the previous owner when he drove it through a large puddle. I can show correspondence from the previous owner if required to substantiate its history. I also have photos when I bought it showing no body or interior damage. A new engine from a 2018 model was fitted with a slightly lower mileage of 78k. This engine has the uprated (TU) injectors and high pressure fuel pump, giving peace of mind to whoever purchases it. I can provide details of the vehicle it came from, again to substantiate its mileage. I am very particular, I restore vintage BMW's to show condition, I can assure you it has been done properly, I welcome any inspection. It runs and drives exactly how it should.
My intention was to add this car to "the collection" as I have always wanted a manual one, however I have several other vintage BMW's I am currently restoring. One of these being a E39 M5 that requires substantial investment and I am selling the M140i to help fund its restoration.
The car is located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and viewings are welcome, however no large groups. Please, no silly "last price" messages or similar, you will be ignored, genuine enquiries are most welcome. Thanks for looking.
