This classic Mercedes 280SL was first registered in Jersey in 1981. In 1985 it was imported and registered in the UK on the 16/09/85. It is finished in an attractive metallic Blue with Tweed Trim. I have owned the vehicle for 11 years during which time I've covered 1364 miles. It has been garaged day and night and only used in the summer on dry days. The original service book has 16 service stamps together with numerous invoices. The vehicle has historic status so has the benefit of zero road tax and MOT exemption. The car is generally in good mechanical condition for it's age but does have some issues which would require attention for serious use. This includes the gearbox slipping between 2nd. and 3rd. when cold and the inoperative pneumatic central locking. It has a rare option of a power operated roof which sadly is not working.
