Description

I have owned this car for over 22 years now but sadly due to moving house and no longer having a garage or the time to devote to the car its time to let it go. Until last year the car has been garaged throughout my ownership. Well maintained car with a huge history file inluding a fresh service at the beginning of this summer (oil, air, plugs and fuel filter). It has a matching set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres with excellent tread remaining. Brakes are in good shape having had new front discs and pads in the last few hundred miles. The car drives and pulls very well with no mechanical issues. Always been run on V Power fuel. A new engine was fitted by BMW at around 44,000 miles. I do not have paperwork for this as it was apparently done under goodwill but i did confirm it with the dealer over the phone before going ahead with the purchase. I bought the car at 45,000 miles (just run in on the new engine) and can confirm that it has always been warmed up to temperature before driving with any enthusiasm in my ownership. All original book pack, and keys including valet key are present along with 2 key fobs for the cat 1 total closure alarm system. Its in good overall condition for a 27 year old car but does have 3 minor dents and some rust to the passenger side rear arch. The wheels are still in the factory factory finish, they have some minor curbing in places but I have never had them re cut because they never look the same afterwards. The interior could do with re connelising but has no rips or tears to the leather. The roof works but does need some help going down as some of the string anchor points have come away so needs fixing or replacing. The rear screen definitely needs replacing as its cracked on the edges and the black trim is coming away. The air con only holds gas for a month or so so will need looking at, never really bothered me as I nearly always drive with the roof down. Genuinely very sad to be letting the car go.
