This was my late father's pride and joy. (much to my mum's dismay!) The car is a 1975 Beauford Fixed Head Tourer. It is a kit made by The Beauford Car Company. The donor car is a 1975 Ford Cortina. The car was built in 1990. The mileage is a bit under 19,000. It has an automatic gearbox. The Beauford is TAX, and MOT exempt, and ULEZ compliant. Used very often as wedding cars, the Beauford really is a statement car. It has a 1930's style with long running boards, and the elongated bonnet. It really is a beautiful car. My father was a member of The Scottish Kit Car Club for a number of years, and also attended car maintenance night school on a weekly basis for at least a decade, so all of his cars were always mechanically sound. The Beauford is white and maroon, with a maroon and cream interior. There are 3 seats. Driver, and bench seat in the rear. A passenger seat can be installed by the new owner easily if required. They are readily available. My father drove it very rarely, and did so for 2 weddings for friends. He said The reaction to the car was always amazing. We have lots of paperwork for the car, including a raft of MOT's, the build manual, and previous ownership details. From the previous owner - The car was built in 1990, and is virtually concourse condition. Very well serviced, plus new radiator, water pump, alternator, wheel cylinders, and brakes.
