This is my personal car, I bought to sell on last year and it was so good I kept it. It's a very reluctant sale as it's such a brilliant car but I have been offered a 981. Nothing beats a manual six speed guards red Porsche with a black leather interior, it makes you feel really special! I also believe that at this price point, nothing comes close to one to these for the complete package. I have spent loads on this car making it perfect. It has had a complete coolant refresh including both front radiators, the cross pipe system (known to leak at this mileage), the coolant pump and drive belt. I also replaced the a/c rads at the same time so thats blowing icy cold. This cost circa 3k. To optimise handling It has a full Spyder Performance handling upgrade so the car has a complete set of new arms and polyurethane bushings at 2k. I have installed a pioneer head unit with Apple Car Play / Android Auto. I have also upgraded the door speakers to with DLS Reference speakers, including sound deadening and a slim line Pioneer sub under the passenger seat, circa 1k. I have replaced the roof module as that was playing up circa 1k. I have also had the car polished and the headlights and alloys refurbished including official coloured Porsche centre caps. I also bought Porsche floor mats which were 170! New Pirelli P Zero tyres (the best set you can get on 18 inch wheels of this size in my opinion) less that 1k miles ago. The car has a valved DesignTec sports exhaust which is a must have for any Boxter, it sounds unbelievable, but also quietens down when you want it too. I blip the throttle in the Youtube clip. The car has a cruise control upgrade. The engine has been serviced last year / 3k ago so not due. 11 services on file including a gearbox oil change. I had the car borescoped before buying it and all is fine. It hasn't used a drop of oil in all the miles I have owned it, plenty of scare stories online but the specialist I use has seen two bore score examples over the 15 years he has worked on these engines. Much more likely for something else to fail so don't let that deter you. Cosmetically it is in excellent order both inside and out. The front bumper has some chips as it is so low, other than that , there's just a few other age related marks. Everything works, except sometimes the rear boot pops open, we believe it's an issue with the switch. It comes with both keys plus all the manuals and original docs. HPI Clear. Test drives welcome.
