Description

1993 Rover Mini Cabriolet 1275cc - Rare Factory Convertible - Only ~300 Made Brand new roof still very very tight! This is not your average Mini - this is one of the very rare Rover Mini Cabriolets, factory-built in the early 1990s. After the success of the prototype Lamm Cabriolets (just 75 made), Rover launched its own official Cabriolet, producing fewer than 300 examples in total. That makes this one of the rarest Minis ever built, a genuine collector's item and an appreciating classic. Key Details Registered: 05/10/1993 Engine: 1275cc Mileage: 47,000 (low for age) Transmission: Manual Fuel: Petrol Body: Convertible (factory Cabriolet) Colour: Red MOT: July 2026 Features & Upgrades Genuine factory-built Cabriolet (not an aftermarket conversion) 1275cc engine - starts first time, runs well Convertible roof in very good condition Half the car lined with Dynamat sound-deadening, reducing rattles/vibrations and giving a much smoother drive compared with most Minis Starmag alloy wheels currently fitted for a period-correct look Full JBL speaker system installed for high-quality sound Comes with a large collection of original parts, carefully stored to preserve condition: Original wheels Exhaust Rocker cover Lights Other removed items shown in photos Condition Overall in very good condition for its age. The bodywork needs only light cosmetic touch-up, nothing major. After longer drives, there is a slight brake squeak - my mechanic advised it simply needs a proper long run, as the car has been barely used (approx. 150 miles a year in my ownership). Always stored carefully and well looked after. Seller's Note This is a rare chance to own one of the most collectible Minis ever produced. With fewer than 300 factory Cabriolets built, many have been exported or heavily modified - examples like this, with low mileage and originality preserved, are extremely hard to find. It combines the charm of a classic Mini with the uniqueness of a genuine Rover Cabriolet, plus tasteful upgrades like Dynamat, Starmags and JBL audio - while still including the original parts for authenticity. I am a genuine private seller. This sale is purely due to relocation - otherwise this car would not be leaving my collection. Contact Serious buyers only - no timewasters, please.
