I bought the car 3 years ago from BMW in York I have only done 5k miles per year so the car is in mint condition. This is my second i8 and it's hard to let it go I drove to a wedding down south last weekend and got 413 miles from one tank and the electric the car generates. I rarely charge the car but it is self charging and is constantly using the power it makes. It drives like a dream so easy to drive great visibility easy to maneuver as it's four wheel drive and not too low so it gets stuck on every little bump! it's just so well designed in every way I can't understand why they never really took off but I definitely think they are a classic of tomorrow they are ahead of their time with 369 bhp with only a 1500 engine they are extremely fast economical and look amazing! Most cars that look like the i8 are difficult to drive have a hard suspension and are primarily track cars the i8 drives like a saloon car has loads of different settings for different driving styles and it has the paddles if you do want a more involved drive. This car new was 130k it has the carbon fibre exposed everywhere leather seats with fabric trim ambient lighting inside so you can change the colour and electric everything. It had a full service at BMW Newcastle last October and is not due another one until October 2026 and last year it sailed through its MOT needed nothing doing at all. What's not to love :)
