This MX5 is a good runner, MOT until May 2026, fun to drive especially In the summer and is mechanically sound as far as I can tell. The car is sold as seen and I will outline it's issues to the best of my knowledge; As a 27 year old car there are body work issues, it has previously had some welding and other work done to get through the MOT. The sills and wheel arches are likely to need attention moving forward, the boot lid has some rust, there is a radio but the aerial has snapped, an inspection may reveal other things but you're welcome to take a look. The seat belts work but there is something wrong with the retractor mechanism so they keep locking when you try to put them on which is a bit annoying when you're in a hurry, my son's guess is the tensioner needs looking at. I am selling because I have a large family and four other cars and it is now surplus to my requirements.
