This is a great car that has been loved, but sadly it's time for it to find a new home. An enthusiastic mechanic would be an ideal new home as the car needs some TLC. Sadly, other than topping up the windscreen washer I am not that technical with cars. Just for transparency this vehicle has failed it's MOT and that is the reason for the low asking price. I'm not a mechanic and whilst this car has been super for me for the past couple of years for me, it's time to move on. The car has an engine management warning light. This was advised by Mercedes and the MOT centre as being a fault with the sensor as opposed to the engine. There are other issues with car, please use the MOT checker available to see further issues. The other issues that I am aware of are the Air Conditioning compressor doesn't work. The rear brakes have a slight judder, but this was not an MOT fail reason. There is a small amount of lacquer peeling from the paintwork near the back number plate and the car is overdue a service, speaker on the right door trim works but the plastic casing is loose. The door trim on the driver door is not aligned 100% after a garage inspected a rattling noise from the electric window. The driver side electric window button is snapped, it functions but just requires a little delicacy and the downshift paddle is snapped but the auto gearbox works fine on Comfort, Sport and Manual on the tiptronic gearshifts, just not the paddle that's broken. All other functions are working on the car, the CD 6 changer works, radio, cd player, electric heated seats with memory, parking sensors front and back, sat nav (with cd), all windows, steering wheel column adjust, seatbelt assisters (driver and passenger), Trip Computers with all electronic functions working properly. I am in the process of making the car SORN, however should I get a quick sale then I would not need to pursue this. The car is Insured and Taxed currently, but the MOT failed on 11.08.2025.
