Here is my Mk5 Gti. Mechanically it is splendid. Drives amazing and is super fast especially when the turbo kicks in. Recent oil change at 149,000 miles and new brake pads. Im selling it because I want an automatic for everyday driving. Its got a stage 1 map running around 225 bhp. Has dumpvalves so it hisses when you shift/let off of the gas which sounds pretty cool. Front wheels have coilover suspension. Has aftermarket split spoke wheels that cost me 1000 at the time. However they are slightly scuffed around the edges. A resonator delete. Fairly new sparkplugs. Transmission has been well cared for and shifts perfectly. New clutch installed at 141,000 miles Ive added interior footwell lighting and lights in the boot and on the side of the front seats too. You can change the colour of the lights with an app, you just scan the QR code on the box. The lights plug into the 12v sockets in the car. The sound system has 8 speakers and for 2006 sounds amazing with a lot of bass. The exterior could use some care as it has lacquer peel on the roof and above the door windows. None on the sides, back and front though although the paint on the rear bumper is slightly damaged. Overall its a wonderful car to drive every day and with the upgrades feels sporty yet still practical as it can average 32 mpg on the motorway.
