Description
This is a very good example of a manual, petrol V70 which I searched high and low for when I purchased it a year ago. I no longer need to drive regularly into the ULEZ but I am driving regularly to Bristol and back, so I have reluctantly swapped for a newer diesel Volvo (which I'm sorry to say isn't as good!)
This is the 170bph manual version which benefits from being in the much lower tax bracket, but has plenty of oomph and is very smooth. It has a full service history, with lots of extras including a very expensive clutch and flywheel change at Volvo at 107,000 miles. It's the SE LUX (top) trim model with the excellent HU-850 stereo and speakers. It also has electric seats, heated seats, working, cold (!) air con, roof rails ands all the usual Volvo stuff. All of it working as far as I'm aware.
The interior is almost immaculate with no significant wear of note. The exterior is equally good with the exception of a dent in the rear bumper which I have not got around to sorting - the previous owner was quoted around 2/300 to fix.
It is mechanically excellent with no issues that I'm aware of. It's had a lot of money spent on the brakes recently, and I have had the alloy wheels straightened and resprayed at significant cost. It drives perfectly.
The economy is pretty much as stated on the official Volvo stats. On long runs I get 34/35 mpg; mixed driving I average 30/31. I pay for tax monthly and it's about 35 pounds.
MOT valid until September 2026 - one advisory for a track rod end which doesn't need doing yet. Tyres excellent; the front two are all-season. I have all paperwork, service book, V5 in my name, two good condition working keys (which are very expensive if lost!)
You're welcome to view in Sevenoaks. Please no silly offers. Many thanks.
