Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE AND YOU MUST READ THIS FIRST This van DOES NOT have 8 seats. It has 5 seats and a space for a wheelchair. I can't figure out how to change number of seats in the features area. THIS VAN HAS 5 SEATS ------------------------- Transporter Shuttle T30 SE, from 2011. It's the short wheelbase model, easy to park and drive, but with plenty of space inside. Under the bonnet, it's got the 2.0 TDI diesel engine with 138 horsepower, and a smooth DSG automatic gearbox. Reliable, powerful, and effortless to drive. This van was converted into a wheelchair accessible vehicle. It has a side-entry lift with a smaller platform, which means you don't need loads of space next to you when getting in or out. Perfect for active wheelchair users. Inside, the middle area is left open to make room for a wheelchair. There's a bench seat at the back, a single passenger seat up front, and the driver's seat is a special six-way seat that moves up, down, forward, back, and even rotates left and right. But here's the real bonus: this layout makes the van super versatile. If you want a camper, it's easy. Take out the rear bench and drop in a folding camper bed. Or, if you need more passenger space, you can add extra seats in the middle and turn it into an 8-seater. So whether it's for accessibility, family, or adventurethis van adapts to you. It's been owned by me from new and always looked after. First five years serviced by Volkswagen dealers, and since then by a trusted private garage. I've done oil changes every 5,000 miles and filters every 10,000, so it's been properly maintained. Now, being 14 years old, it does have a few age-related marks. A light scratch on the sliding door, less than five centimetres. A small dent on the rear door, and a crack in the bumper. Plus the seat adjustment knob needs a simple nut to tighten it. But none of these affect how it drives or works. Overall, it's a fantastic van. Compact to handle, but packed with features. It's award-winning VW quality, safe, practical, and ready for its next owner. So if you're looking for a reliable wheelchair accessible vehicle, a base for a camper, or even a people mover, this Transporter Shuttle is ready to go. Get in touch if you'd like to see it in person.
