A true one of one - the '1.6 TDI' Golf R. This has been part of a private collection for a few years now and it's time for it to move on. This car has been modified since new by professional tuning company QST, famous for twin turbo Huracans and R8s. In its current state, it is running approximately 400hp and 500nm, due to its upgraded induction system, turbos and tuning. It previously ran 530hp but after the second gearbox failed, I reduced it to save the current gearbox, which is less than 1,000 miles old. It has not been subject to 'full power' either. Both previous gearboxes will be included in the sale, both worth 7-8k each when fixed; one needs 3rd gear replacement, the other needs 4th. Number plate included in sale. The car will be sold with a new MOT The car is worth approximately 18-20k, 8k for two easily fixable gearboxes (worth 10k each) seems reasonable.
