This car is in really good condition. My wife and I have owned it for 11 years and we'd like to think it has appreciated the care we've given it over that time. A body restoration to replace the front wings, followed by a total re-spray in the original Mercedes red and after that we had it undersealed, all with the aim of storing it in one of our barns, as we feel sure the early SLKs will soon be recognised as a sought after classic and increase in value. It is 28 years old, but has only done 120,00 miles (we bought it when it had done 109,000). The hard top to open top mechanism works perfectly, it has been frequently serviced and runs extremely well. It has the high spec you expect from a Mercedes sports car: turbo charger, power steering, cruise control, traction control, electric windows, electric mirrors, leather upholstery and air conditioning. The SLK has an MOT until June 2026 and two keys. The previous owner had a Sony Bluetooth radio fitted so he could use his mobile phone while on the road. We're selling because we're a little older and much creakier that when we bought the car and we find getting in and out of a low down sports car more difficult than ever. As well as that it looks like we're going to need the space it occupies!
