Description

Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS 64K Petrol MoT until July 2026 Only 64K miles Timing chain changed Dec 2023 @ 56K miles I've owned the car 6 years (July 2019) Num of keepers (incl me): 4. Internally car is in fantastic condition. Brushed-metal console in great condition (many examples are very scratched, this only has a few marks) Annual oil change performed, and new tyres fitted at the last MoT. Wheels refurbed 2 years ago. Other: Features include climate control/air conditioning, cruise control, panoramic glass roof, rear parking sensors, electric windows, heated and electrically-adjustable mirrors, alarm, spare wheel kit, locking wheel nuts. The car has immobiliser, driver and passenger airbags, and a touch of Italy with labelled temperature/fuel gauges ("Acqua", "Olio", "Benzina"). All the other usual stuff for the Brera models - panoramic roof, airbags, traction control, etc etc. An additional AUX/SD/USB device connected into back of original stereo (via multi-CD changer port) to support music and phone audio connection. The bad stuff: Unfortunately suffering from lacquer peel on 4 panels from sun-kiss (bonnet, boot, rear drivers side, roof) plus wing mirrors. This is a common Alfa trait. I've photographed the areas, mainly on the drivers side and boot lip. Lights do steam up a little especially if using a jet wash (so i just don't use one), just be careful when washing with hot steamy water. All 2.2 JTS Alfas suffer from an awkward clutch bite and a very very low 1st gear ratio; this car is no different. Smooth driving in 1st gear you won't notice it, but it does take a little adjusting; so expect that you'll need to get used to it! Due to lacquer issue, price has been substantially reduced to accomodate; if your interested in a respray, its a good value car which will look amazing once the respray done; if your not fussed about hte lacquer then you have a classic Alfa at a bargain price. Contact: Please note, due to work commitments i won't be able to return calls or do viewing before 6PM on week days.
