Description
I spent years searching for this second gen manual and if you're reading this, you might have been too. My requirements were a manual (obviously) with a 3.6 engine for cheaper band K road tax (225g/km) and also a sunroof for summer road trips.
I intended to keep this car for the long term so I took it to Friends Green Porsche last February before the major service was due and addressed every single issue at a cost of nearly 9,000. I can share the list of all the extensive works completed and photocopies of all the recent service history via email. Everything that was possibly required at this mileage has been addressed so there aren't any nasty surprises for the next owner. This car also has a full service history which can also be emailed upon request.
Summary of work carried out on last major service
New Clutch
Renew 2x shock absorbers, 2x coil springs (Eibach sport), 2x top mounts, 2x top bearings, 2x bump stops, 2x dust bellows, 2x drop links.
Renew NS shock absorber (OS appears to have been replaced at some point and can be re-used), 2x coil springs (Eibach sport), 2x top mounts, 2x bump stops, 2x dust bellows, 2x drop links.
Renew 4x brake caliper pipes and 4x flexi hoses for Goodridge stainless braided units. Fill and bleed hydraulic brake fluid system.
Coolant Expansion Tank Package
Manual Transmission Oil Change
Cruise Control Retrofit Package
RSS Semi solid engine mounts (I still have the original if preferred but I told Friends Green Porsche I would return it).
Milltek centre back box delete pipe and quad exhaust tips. The original was only replaced around 20K miles ago for another OEM which is included in the sale for originality.
It also comes with the original 19" Turbo wheels which I replaced with 18" Carrera classics. Both sets are included within the list price.
All original parts including the clear side markers and the US spec ambers which were added for a retro vibe. I have headlight caps in arctic silver which I intended to install and complete my desired retro 993 look and I also purchased a leather centre console wrap which is also part of the sale. This would cover up some minor scratches on the center console and would perfectly finish the premium full extended leather cabin off.
Autotrader won't let me write any more, you can also find this on other platforms for more info.
