For sale is my 7 Seater Volvo XC90 which I have owned since early this year. I purchased it off a guy in newton abbot with no service history. The car was great for a couple of months and then went into limp mode. As a result a buildup of black smoke was present when starting the engine and although it was driven locally around teignmouth to go to the shops etc it has had very little use, the only notable journey I did was a run up to Bristol airport and back to go on holiday in May, this was prior to it going into limp mode. It has been parked up for the last month as I didn't want to drive it too much whilst in limp mode. I havnt taken it to a mechanic and as the road tax on these is relatively high 60+ a month I have now decided to part ways. I also live in a culdesac with a communal carpark and as we already have a car I feel guilty about just taking up a needless space. Although there is no paperwork the car has flown through its mots over the past few years and since its last mot it's only covered 1,500 miles or so. Mot is not due until Feb 2026. Car in limp mode with black smoke coming out of exhaust. Currently has a flat battery Two rear tyres could do with air, car has sat around for two months since in limp mode. Rear windscreen wiper fell off. No service history. Likely due a service. Please feel free to come and take a look.
