HAD TO LIST AS MG MIDGET ,LIMITED SCOPE ON LISTING OPTIONS: 1969 Austin Sprite /Midget ,Beautiful Primrose with Autumn leaf interior . Best on Autotrader maybe because it had a Heritage body and full rebuild inc engine in 1990. The body painted in 2pack is still looking excellent and along with the shell being 100% rust free ,it just ticks all the boxes . New refurbished seats and very smart interior it's a great place to be ,the new wooden steering wheel feels so right . The engine was rebuild with some mods along the way,single mini carb, full details of the uprated spec in the history file .Shows excellent oil pressure and compression. The gearbox has first gear whine which is pretty much the norm for these classics. Wire wheels "MWS " still look like new, tyres are all good same make all round "Goodyear",the spare is new still. Since it's rebuild -rebody in 1990 it has only done 15000 miles always garaged by it's engineer owner of 40 years. The body shell alone to today would cost 15 thousand pounds It drives really well looks superb and no body or mechanical concerns. Large history file detailing all the details of the rebuild undertaken, V5 present ,3 previous owners. Overall ,body is 100% solid most areas on these cars are rust prone sills ,spring hangers ,footwells ....this car was fully sealed with wax proofing when rebodied with the new shell. The rear suspension has uprated SPAX shock absorbers fitted,gives greatly improved ride.
