1990 VW Mk2 Golf Gti , 3 door Caylpso Green sunroof model. Last owner had for 9 years and had conversion done in 2017, 1.8t 20v from Audi S3. Engine was fully rebuilt in 2020 with the following rebuilt AMK head to standard spec , new cam chain and vvt tensioner, exhaust valve guides stem seals and hydraulic lifters. A low mileage BJX bottom end sourced and rebuilt with pro rad rods, acl race bearings, new oil pump, pro race manual tensioner, billet crank gear with I.E bolt. DPA 020A 5 speed gearbox with vr final drive, Quaife LSD rebuilt by Gas N Gears. Toyo front mounted intercooler, Badger 5 custom engine map ( 270 bhp ) , Vibratech engine mounts, super pro subframe bushes, bosch 044 fuel pump and swirl pot, trackslag 3" stainless exhaust system from turbo back, trackslag charge pipe, g60 front brakes, Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs, Ronal LS wheels with Pilotsport 3's. Inside has recent headlining , working sunroof, electric windows, central locking , 2 keys , thatcham approved alarm / immobilizer with fobs, mk5 tartan Gti seats on adapter plates ( easily removed if wishing to refit mk2 seats ) , Blaupunkt retro looking stereo fitted ( has bluetooth / dab / streaming etc ) , JVC speakers and Vibe subwoofer / amp in the boot. G 20VT V number plate included with the car. Very good condition for 35 years old, if your after a original purists example this is not for you due to the engine and seats. The shell has done around 165k miles the engine has done around 4k since rebuild. I brought this on a whim earlier this year and doubt I've done a 1000 miles in it! , its totally reliable very quick and tbh a bit of a handful at times . Only selling as I've seen a mk4 golf R32 3 door I want to buy, so would consider one of these.
