Description

2009 Audi S5, 4.2 V8 petrol with six-speed tiptronic (automatic) gearbox Recently imported from Japan, has to be seen to be appreciated. Having only covered 36,500 km from new (less than 23,000 miles) it is in excpetional condition & supplied with two keys. Ibis white bodywork is stunning, with only a few small marks/blemishes. The red leather interior is in brilliant condition with only a few age-related marks. The wheels have just been professionally refinished and are fitted with matching Bridgestone Potenza S001 tyres all with at least 5 mm tread. The styling of this first generation S5 is fantastic & in this colour with the factory tinted windows it looks absolutely perfect. The big 4.2 naturally aspirated V8 engine sounds incredible & the tiptronic gearbox suits the car wonderfully. Being a Japanese market vehicle this car is very well optioned. Rarer options include B&O stereo (very good and incredibly expensive), adaptive sports suspension with damper control, heated seats and reversing camera. As it's a Japanese car it also has no rust or corrosion anywhere underneath - it looks like a new car (see photos). I have also treated the underside using Lanoguard. As a Japanese import over 10 years old for tax purposes this car is classified as PLG over 1549cc which is currently 198 for 6 months or 360 for 12 months - much cheaper than the same car registered from new in the UK! I have Japanese service records for 12,172 km, 18,449 km, 22,630 km, 25,230 km, 27,633 km and 30,735 km. It has just been serviced at an independent Audi specialist (36,420 km or 22,630 miles) and is MOT'd until August 2026. The odometer still reads in km. I have had the dials changed so MPH is the predominant display. All the language and displays in the car are now in English but the satnav doesn't work (the maps are for Japan so it's off-grid) and not all the FM frequencies can be picked up (it does get Radio 2!). I'm sure these things could be upgraded to be compatible with IOS or Andriod but a new owner can decide. If I was keeping it I'd get the correct cable to link my phone via the Audi Music Interface Port and leave it standard. I also have a Car VX report (a vehicle history report from Japan) showing this car has never been in an accident, stolen, subject to a recall, used commercially or had it's mileage altered. Cars like this are getting rare. If you want an incredibly low mileage Audi S5 4.2 V8 this is the car for you. I doubt you will ever find one better.
