After 8 years of almost flawless service, I'm selling this car as it has had two faults in as many months and I need absolute reliability for work. The two faults were the alternator failing and the DPF being blocked. The alternator has been replaced and the DPF chemically treated. The car now runs perfectly. The good bits: 1. Brand new alternator 2. Brand new rear brakes in spring 2025 (same time as MOT) 3. All new summer tyres 4. Full set of winter tyres (two of which new for last winter so look brand new) 5. Serviced every year with the change to winter tyres, MOT and change to summer tyres 6. Gearbox oil changed approx 2 years ago 7. Cruise control 8. Heated seats- game changer This is an older car so I'm not going to sugar-coat, it has the following faults: 1. One parking sensor (one on the back I think) is broken 2. 6 CD changer and HUD doesn't work (and never worked for me)- main CD player still works 3. Some bodywork issues (see photos) - scuffs mainly and some areas where the lacquer is peeling 4. Some rust on the boot area- it had this when I bought it in 2018 and hasn't changed a great deal but I do keep it in a garage. Things I've fixed in the past: 1. Passeneger front side ball joint needs replacing every couple of years- picked up on MOTs (about 100 quid if memory serves), never had an issue with abnormal wear on the tyres or anything so not sure why 2. Airconditioning leak- changed the radiator on the advice of the garage and no further issues 3. Alternator changed spring 2025 4. DPF- chemcally treated and fixed in June 2025 I'll be sad to see it go. I've put it up for 2k as I've seen similar on here anywhere from 2.5-4k and I'm happy with 2. I won't go lower as its already priced to sell.
