Description
For sale I have my H22-Swapped 1990 Honda Prelude
After 6 amazing years of ownership, it's time to let go. With a wedding coming up (and weddings not being cheap!), its time to let someone else enjoy the car.
The car has a long list of modifications, with the most notable being:
H22A7 engine and manual gearbox from an Accord Type R, Japan Racing JR10 wheels, BC Racing coilovers, Genuine OMP steering wheel, Aftermarket sound system, Custom stainless exhaust (with silencer and resonatorno typical Honda rasp), Custom paint job, Underside fully cleaned and re-undersealed during the swap, suspension components painted, all ball joints and track rods replaced. The car has been wax-treated in all cavities and lanoguarded underneath for added protection.
Most of the major work was completed around 2021, and the car still turns heads everywhere it goes. It drives and cruises beautifully. When the swap was done, auxiliary engine components were replaced. including the alternator, starter motor, clutch, ignition leads, etc.
The car has always been garaged during winter months.
Things to Note:
The engine mounts were fabricated by myself, functionally fine but not the cleanest. They're quite stiff, so you'll feel some vibration in the cabin, but it's nothing extreme.
The car currently has no power steering. A Volvo V40 electric power steering pump is installed along with PTFE lines. However, when the pump is on, the steering pulls left. I suspect the issue lies with the steering rack, but haven't had time to diagnose or fix it.
Car will come with a years MOT as it runs out soon.
This car has meant a lot to me, and I genuinely hope it goes to someone who'll enjoy it as much as I have. Would love to see it pop up at car shows in the future!
