Description

Description Close For sale is my Genuine BMW E30 318is in BMW-brilliantrot. First registered 08/ 1990. V5 present in my name. Currently on 143, 551 miles 7 previous recorded owners Fresh MOT, expires 07 Sep 26. It is garaged when not in use and I take it off the road in the winter months (Oct to Apr). Everything works as it should, interior cloth seats are in excellent condition, dashboard is also excellent, sunroof works. Original BMW tool kit is complete and present in the boot. The previous owner had it resprayed in it's original BMW-brilliantrot back in 2012 as it was suffering from the 80's/ 90's red paint fade ( i know as I was the previous owner when it was pretty much pink!) I have photos on a USB stick of this work being done. The car is pretty much standard except for the following: Currently running on 17" replica BBS alloys (which in my opinion look great) Bilstein B4 shocks and Eibach sport springs all round Stainless steel exhaust fitted MTech 2 steering wheel HID headlights fitted K&N panel air filter After market Sony stereo Speakers are all aftermarket with some 6x9's fitted in the rear shelf It has had engine oil and filters every 2 years (2 years due to lack of mileage) Recent work carried out over the last few years: Sep 2022: Clutch and flywheel replaced, diff oil replaced, starter motor replaced, new battery (receipts present) Strut top mounts, roll bar drop links all replaced with OEM parts when the Bilstein B4's and Eibach springs were fitted in late 2023. I have a folder of various old MOTs, receipts, handbooks which show some of the cars history. I have the original 15" BBS alloys (x5) which I will include in the sale. They do need a full refurb and the tyres are old and not legal, however they do hold air as I used them for storage over winter. No centre caps unfortunately. It is not show room condition, but it is one of the best I have seen, drives great and turns heads when you are out and about. There are a few minor paint marks and a few very small paint chips. The inside of the bonnet has had some krust treatment by the looks of it to some small areas of corrosion on the inside (it obviously was not painted on the inside during the respray) and there is a small area onside the sunroof that has also been treated. To my knowledge it has never been welded. You will see from the MOT history it had a couple of advisories most of which have already been sorted.
