Description

For sale is my privately owned Jaguar S-Type, a March 2005 registered facelift SE model finished with the more refined 3.0 V6 petrol engine and smooth 6-speed automatic gearbox. This is not your average example - it's one of the most genuine, well-kept cars of its kind and a true appreciating young-timer. It's even currently insured under classic cover with Hagerty, with an agreed total loss value of 6,000. The car was originally supplied new by Jaguar Stratstone of Mayfair to a local gentleman who cherished it as his weekend treat. He kept it right up until earlier this year. The mileage is low thanks to light, pleasure use only, and the car has always been garaged, never laid up, but consistently serviced and MOT'd throughout its life. Every detail of its history has been preserved, with a thick folder of invoices and MOT records to hand. Servicing has been carried out by Jaguar main dealers, Jag specialists, and a trusted Bosch service centre. The service speaks for itself, covering 9k, 16k, 22k, 24k, 26k, 28k, 30k, 31k, 34k, and 37k miles. Unsurprisingly, it drives exactly as you'd hope quiet, refined, utterly solid over the bumps, yet with plenty of punch when asked, the gearbox shifting seamlessly through every gear. Inside, it feels like stepping back in time. The interior is in remarkable condition, still carrying that unmistakable scent of quality leather. Specification is generous, with electric tilt-and-slide sunroof, fully electric heated sports seats with memory, premium sound system with Bluetooth and an upgraded CD player, cruise control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heated and folding door mirrors, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors and more. The exterior is equally impressive, free from scratches or dents, and it sits smartly on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P6000 tyres all round. The car is currently garaged and brought out only for fair-weather drives. All original books, manuals, leather wallet and Jaguar welcome pack are included, along with two keys one of which is virtually unused, still paired with its original Jaguar keyring. At present, the car wears a private plate (G2 KOW) which will be removed before sale. Viewing is welcome in Pinner, and I'm confident the first genuine buyer to see it will appreciate just how special this example is.
