New car forces sad sale of 'BOV' my little Peugeot 208 Diesel. Originally a Police vehicle, BOV was bought in June 2024 and has been a reliable commuter and is ULEZ compliant whilst returning a regular 62+MPG. BOV has an MOT until July 2026 and has a full Service History comprising of Stamped Service Book consisting of 4 stamps from the 14,909 miles until 87,491 miles (Police Workshop) and then a local garage service with Stamp and invoice at 96,667 miles to include new Timing Belt and Water Pump plus interim Service (Oil & Filters). BOV has also had the Air-Con re-gassed (cold) and a new clutch fitted at 101,641 miles. BOV runs has Goodyear tyres all round with plenty of tread and I do have the wheel trims which will be sold with the car (never liked them myself). BOV features, electric front windows, electric heated mirrors, cruise control, air-conditioning and CD/Radio with Bluetooth for phone and music streaming. Finished in Silver with a black interior BOV has deep set rubber mats (fantastic in the wet or winter) and also has a spare wheel and jack (no waiting for recovery!). As you can tell I shall be sorry to see BOV go as he has been faultless in whisking me all over the UK and with the long 4th and 5th gears is super low revving on the motorway and A roads for economy. He can still pick up well and provides comfortable (non bumpy) travel on B roads and is the only car I have ever had that fuel consumption is shown to rise and not fall! If I was allowed to I would keep him but I am on strict instructions that it is a one in and one out policy, hence the advert. If you are after a good first or commuter car then BOV is ideal. BOV has covered 103,890 miles but I shall continue to use occasionally and so the mileage will rise (hence 104,000 on the advert). Please call if interested.
