Here we have my 2012 MX5 for sale. I've owned it for almost a year and it has been the best car I've ever driven by a mile. Sadly I have to get rid in order to get a little more cash for my house deposit and get something a little bigger to move my stuff. Mileage will increase slightly as still in use for now. Mechanically, the car is perfect, the engine has not burnt or leaked a single drop since I've owned it, which is apparently common with these. THis car goes and stops as it should, with a great sound as well. New brake pads all round were fitted in November, along with a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tyres. All features, such as heated seats, air con, power folding hardtop and heated rear window all work as they should. Cosmetically, the car is also quite good, there are a few marks here and there, but for its age, I don't think its much of deal breaker. The bolster on the drivers seat is a little worn, but hasn't bothered me enough to warrant doing anything to it. The front headlights have been professionally polished by a local body shop, as well as having a pair of Osram Night Breaker dipped beam bulbs to make night driving a joy. The standard 6 CD changer stereo has been replaced with a Pioneer Wireless Carplay and Android Auto head unit, and the AUX in port has been replaced with a USB port for wired Carplay and charging. The original stereo and AUX in will be included and can even be replaced after purchase if preferred. It must be noted that the passenger side door speaker is on its way out, and does have a slight rattle. The previous owner did not keep any records of any services or work done, so it was serviced by myself in November 2024. This constsied of new oil, oil filter and air filter. Despite the lack of service history, the MOT history of this car shows its clearly been in great hands with the previous owners.
