Description

Here is my Jaguar XJR for sale. I've had it for 2 years and loved it throughout. Given the companies current state, I struggle to see them making anything quite like this again which, combined with it's rarity, should mean it's a fairly safe place to put your money. I'm on the fence about selling for that reason, I'm only listing it as I like to change cars quite frequently. The car is in amazing condition and has the service history to back it up. I had the gearbox serviced in 2024, as well as the regular services always done ahead of time. I'm not exactly sure what the XJR came with as standard, although I suspect it was a lot as this has everything you could possibly want. Heated and ventilated seats in the front and rear, carbon engine covers and Meridian sound system to name a few. Heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, digital dashboard, Bluetooth, built-in TV and the really clever JLR split view TV, so passengers can watch the TV/a DVD whilst driving and you can see the satnav/radio or anything else. Which craft... It also has the original Jaguar headphones that I presume can pair to the infotainment system, although I've never tried. All of that alongside the standard stuff you'd expect, auto wipers/lights, auto dipped beam, collision assist, blind spot monitoring, rear view camera, electric boot, rear air suspension and so, so much more. It's a really special place to be. Everything is premium, feels amazing and you can just tell how much money and effort went in to designing and building the car. The engine is a masterpiece, it's less fraught than an AMG but is an absolute jackhammer, just has the feeling it will keep ruthlessly pulling forever. Being supercharged means it's really drivable and enjoyable, low down torque but high end power, too. It has double glazed windows for noise insulation, but I think Jaguar did a really good job enabling you to hear and feel the engine but only when you want to, when cruising it's as quiet and refined as you'll ever need. I don't want to oversell it too much... The bodywork is pretty much immaculate, there's a tiny dent on one of the front wings which you can only see in certain lighting conditions. A pointless dent removal person could sort that. The car could do with a polish as there are some swirl marks which black cars are famed for. The only other thing is the keyless locking button on the driver's door doesn't work. I imagine this would be an easy fix I've just never got round to it
